The Dangers of VAPING 🌬️

Vaping has several damaging health effects, including:

Lung Damage: Vaping can cause lung inflammation, lung disease, and permanent lung scarring. The aerosol from e-cigarettes contains harmful chemicals like formaldehyde and acrolein that can damage lung tissue. Vaping has been linked to serious lung illnesses like EVALI (e-cigarette or vaping product use-associated lung injury), which caused thousands of hospitalizations and deaths.

Cardiovascular Effects: Studies show vaping impairs blood vessel function and increases the risk of heart disease, similar to smoking regular cigarettes. The particles and chemicals in vape aerosols can harm the cardiovascular system.

Cancer Risk: Some chemicals found in vape aerosols, like formaldehyde and acrolein, are known carcinogens and may increase cancer risk with long-term use.

Respiratory Issues: Vaping can cause chronic cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, and respiratory infections. Cases of lipoid pneumonia from inhaling vape oils have also been reported.
